ANDHealth opens applications for 2026 ACTIVATE program

Posted: 29 January 2026

ANDHealth has announced that applications have been opened for the 2026 intake of its ACTIVATE scale-up programme, with support having been provided by LaunchVic and the Victorian Government.

“Achieving a Net Promoter Score of 100 from our 2025 ACTIVATE cohort was an extraordinary result and a clear reflection of the value this programme delivers to founders,” said ANDHealth Chief Executive Bronwyn Le Grice. She added that every participant had rated the programme as excellent or very good, demonstrating that ACTIVATE had exceeded expectations and set a new benchmark for accelerator programmes in Australia.

The ACTIVATE programme was designed as a purpose-built accelerator to support Victorian digital and connected health startups with strong growth potential that were ready to scale. A six-month intensive structure has been offered, combining advanced commercialisation content, practical mentoring, and access to global industry networks to help founders accelerate market readiness and expansion.

Since the programme was launched in 2023, 45 companies have participated in ACTIVATE. Collectively, these companies have raised $35.7 million in dilutive and non-dilutive funding, generated $15 million in new revenue, impacted more than 398,000 patients, and created 156 new jobs during and following programme participation.

Across previous cohorts, 371 industry experts have contributed more than 726 hours of programme delivery and 271 hours of mentoring. An average Net Promoter Score of 92 has been achieved, with the 2025 cohort recording a perfect score of 100.

Analysis of ANDHealth’s national pipeline of more than 1,300 digital and connected health companies as at 31 December 2025 has shown Victoria to be home to the largest share of companies nationally, accounting for 42.7 per cent or 567 organisations, and recording growth of more than 118 per cent since December 2022.

LaunchVic Chief Executive Dr Kate Cornick said HealthTech had been recognised as one of Victoria’s strongest startup subsectors, noting that backing proven initiatives such as ACTIVATE ensured founders received targeted support to scale in a critical industry.

Applications for the 2026 ACTIVATE cohort are scheduled to close on Sunday 22 March 2026 at 11:59 pm AEDT, with the programme set to run from May to December 2026. Victorian digital and connected health founders have been encouraged to apply.
